Tired of accounting errors caused by CS-Cart?
Price Precision minimizes the decimal / round-off errors in CS-Cart calculations related to orders totals, taxes and discounts.

A round-off error, also called rounding error, is the difference between the calculated approximation of a number and its exact mathematical value due to rounding.
CS-Cart adds small error amounts (0.01)* to some calculations, which most of the time are not obvious. These errors may accumulate in your orders, resulting in accounting inconsistencies.

Price Precision add-on expands the decimals precision in your database from 2 (default value of CS-Cart) to 4, and adds a new option in your currencies: "Display Decimals", ie. the number of decimals to be displayed. With this new option set, you can now increase the value for "Decimals" option (used in calculations) to 4 for more precision.

Note: this add-on will change the structure of some database tables. Please make a backup before installing this add-on.

*0.01 may not seem a significant error, but here's a few examples of disasters caused by such basic math errors.
